B Polite is a penguin that lives at the South Pole. The penguins that live there get their name from the pole-lights or the "Polites."B is a nick name for Bentley.The story is a day in the life of B Polite, a penguin that lives in a cold place that is warm and friendly due to a kind way of life.It is a sweet story of the benefits of building a foundation of manners early in life.

The story is written so that the children may connect with B Polite and see that kind actions are a desirable way to a happy life.

The journey of civility begins at a very young age and the concept of B Polite was developed to help make the trip fun. B Polite is not so much about the rules, but rather, it is about respecting oneself first; enabling respect for others, i.e., the circle of life in the life cycle of civility.

Very cute book. A great addition to my kids' book collection. I love books that teach children life lessons. If you're trying to teach you're children about manners and being polite, then I would recommend this book. My husband is very picky about which books he'll read to our kids and he loves this one. I received a signed copy from the author with a stuffed penguin. My daughter loves it.

The lessons are written to help teachers/parents teach the attitudes reflected in the book to help their child be polite and polished. Starting the journey of civility at a young age enables them to develop success skills early and help live a happy life.

A unique 6 month manners program that will help you teach 2 - 7 year old children, topics such as hello and goodbye, please and thank you, table manners, sharing, setting the table, chores, listening, compliments . . . to name a few. The lessons are designed to be taught one lesson a month with activities on the topic for the month.

The program provides interactive lessons, coloring pages, poems, stories and tools needed to facilitate learning. Manners are such an important part of how a child learns to develop self-respect, character, relationships, and leadership abilities. These lessons will also help children become more self-confident, courteous, and give them the opportunity to master these important life skills.

Manners are not just polite actions; they are a reflection of our attitudes. Therefore, when you teach a child manners, you are teaching an attitude, not an action. As a well known saying states, "The manners of today will be the morals of tomorrow".
